Interludes Tuesday, December 3rd, 6:30pm. The Barrow Group 312 W36th St, 3rd Floor The first performance of Interludes, written and performed by Claire Christine Sargenti. This is a free workshop performance sponsored by Lee Brock and the Barrow Group. It will be an intimate evening of theater and your feedback will be appreciated! Interludes is a new play by the young playwright Claire Christine Sargenti. Set in New Orleans, this series of monologues explores the meaning of living and dying as told by the vibrant characters who call this spirited city their home. In a city that is famous for its music, the spoken interludes, reflections, and reactions that occur in between the songs often go unnoticed, but in this case, they make up the entirety of the show. Even though wholly inspired by the city of New Orleans, theses monologues transcend location and reflect the passions found at the root of the human spirit. |
