Welcome!Candace Clift is a New York based actor. Born and raised in California, she spent several years performing, directing and teaching Shakespeare in New England. She has toured Europe as Blanche Dubois in a production of A Streetcar Named Desire, and co-directed a Vietnamese language production of Romeo and Juliet in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Outside of her acting endeavors, Candace has traveled widely, survived breast cancer, lived on a sailboat in Boston Harbor, attended college in Sydney, Australia and studied Spanish in Patzcuaro, Michoacan, Mexico. As a former journalist with a bachelor's degree in English Literature, she is a passionate lover of good writing and truth-telling. She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Florida and is an acting company member of the Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville, FL and Advice To The Players, a Shakespeare company in Sandwich, NH. |
